The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting proposals for its Low-Cost Lightweight Portable Photovoltaics program. The program is seeking "innovative research proposals in the area of photovoltaic power sources that excel in efficiency, portability, flexibility, durability, and ease of manufacture." Applications are due by April 21, 2010.
